Privacy Policy

bombic.io ("bombic", "we") is a multiplayer bomb arena game developed and operated by BlueBytes Yazılım. The game is offered both in the browser (web) and as an iOS/Android mobile app. This policy applies to both platforms and explains what data we collect, how we use it and what your rights are. By using bombic you accept this policy.

1. Information we collect

Registration or an account is not required to play. The data we collect is limited:

• Game information: the nickname you choose, your country-flag preference and your game statistics (score, wins, level) — used for the leaderboard.
• Chat messages: messages you write to global/language/map chat are delivered to other players. Messages are not stored permanently; they are relayed live (passing through a profanity filter for moderation, see section 6).
• Device identifier: a local id (pid) and your settings are kept in local storage on your device to remember your preferences and map purchases.
• Technical data: standard log records such as IP address, browser/device type and access time, for security and abuse prevention.
• Advertising identifiers: ads are served by Google AdMob in the app and Google AdSense on the web; these may use data such as an advertising id (IDFA on iOS / Advertising ID on Android) and approximate location (see sections 2 and 5).
• Optional account: if you use "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google" we receive your name and email address. Signing in is only for carrying your purchases across devices; it is not required to play.
• Purchase data: if you buy a premium skin, we verify the purchase with the store (App Store/Play) receipt or the PayPal transaction id and grant your entitlement. We never see or store your card/payment details — those are handled directly by Apple/Google/PayPal.

2. Advertising (AdMob / AdSense)

bombic is funded by advertising revenue. The mobile app uses Google AdMob and the web uses Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies and advertising identifiers to show you relevant ads.

• How Google uses data: Google Privacy & Terms.
• You can turn off personalised advertising in Google Ad Settings.
• On iOS we ask your permission before ad tracking (see section 5 — App Tracking Transparency). If you decline you will still see ads, but without tracking-based personalisation.

3. Third-party service providers

• Google AdMob / AdSense — serving ads.
• Apple / Google — optional sign-in and in-app purchases (StoreKit / Play Billing).
• PayPal — payment for skin purchases on the web only.
• Our hosting infrastructure — running the game servers.

4. How we use the information

• To operate the game, matchmaking and the leaderboard,
• To provide and moderate chat (safety),
• To verify purchases and grant entitlements,
• To prevent cheating, abuse and security threats,
• To fund the game through advertising,
• To understand anonymous, aggregate trends so we can improve the game.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

In the iOS app, we ask for your consent through Apple's standard permission prompt before using your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for ad personalisation. You may decline; ads are then shown without tracking. You can change the permission at any time under iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

6. Chat and user content

bombic has global/language/map chat. We apply zero tolerance to inappropriate content. In practice:

• Messages pass through an automatic profanity/inappropriate content filter,
• You can report and block any message and its sender,
• Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; violators are muted or banned.

Chat messages are not stored permanently on the server; they are relayed live.

7. Retention and deletion

Game statistics and purchase entitlements are kept until you delete them. You can delete your data at any time:

• From inside the app/game: the "Delete my data" link under the menu — this permanently deletes your player data on our servers (skin entitlements, leaderboard statistics and your account if you have one) and resets the device.
• By email: privacy@bluebytes.com.tr — your request is fulfilled within 30 days at the latest.

8. Your rights (KVKK / GDPR)

Under Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object to processing and to withdraw consent. For requests: privacy@bluebytes.com.tr. KVKK applications: kvkk.gov.tr.

9. Children's privacy

bombic is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Chat is moderated, but children under 13 should use the game under parental supervision.

10. International transfers

Your data may be transferred abroad within the Google, Apple and PayPal services; such transfers are made under those providers' standard contractual clauses and security measures.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are published on this page and the "Last updated" date above changes.
